The Koss M5 electret microphone comes equipped with a hanger design that allows you to attach to your jacket or computer audio system for hands-free communication and storage. The omnidirectional microphone allows for maximum sensitivity and optimized pick-up pattern. With a frequency Response of 50-8,000 Hz and a microphone impedance of (same as load) 2.2k ohms. The Koss M5 is available only in black and comes standard with a straight, single entry 8 foot cable. The compact and lightweight design of the M5 e provides convenient, hands-free use. The clip allows you to connect it to your clothing to position the microphone closer to your mouth for the optimal sound pick-up. The adhesive-backed base can also mount to your computer monitor for constant hands-free voice communications. The M5 was designed for voice activated or voice recognition software applications and computer voice mail systems. As an electret condenser microphone with a unidirectional pick-up pattern, the M5 has greater sensitivity to sound. Compatible with most computer systems and sound cards, the M5 does require a DC voltage bias supply to power the microphone.
