7 of 7 people found the following review helpful Large but a tad wobbly., By eric (upstate NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 10-Bay ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - No Power Supply Unit (Black/Red) (Personal Computers) I bought this case because I was planning on upsizing from a miniATX to ATX motherboard and sought a tower with additional drive slots. I was not disappointed with the large size, but I've found it to be a bit wobbly. This is understandable for a case at this price range, and is really not that big of a deal to me. In fact, it's only apparent when the side panels are taken off.All the wires hooked up properly to my Gigabyte motherboard, although I can't seem to get the front audio jacks to work. I haven't determined whether this is related to this case or my motherboard, but to be honest this is not a terrible downside for me. There are always the input/output in the rear and I rarely use a headset or mic. The USB work fine though. I've grown very fond of the blue power light and it's the coolest feature to me. I like the addition of a reset button as well. Overall, does what I need it to do! If you can get past the wobbliness, it's a fine budget case. EDIT: Upon further inspection, I discovered that the front headphone and microphone jacks DO indeed work, and the problem lied with a Realtek setting. Also it's been several months and I've disconnected the LED running light. It's gotten annoying. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Its not big no-no-no, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 10-Bay ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - No Power Supply Unit (Black/Red) (Personal Computers) Its a cheap case that does the job. I like the look. My light is blue. Be mindful of the dimensions though. My Cooler Master Computer Case Cooling R4-L2R-20AC-GP 120mm I believe, wouldn't mount over any of the chassis fan openings. I just put one screw in and have it blowing out as much as it can. It almost sticks out of the case since its in the back and right over the adapters. I am not sure a cooler master would fit over the CPU and still let the side close. It might, but it would be a close fit. That is the only thing I have a problem with(the size) but otherwise it seems sturdy and provides lots of bays to expand in. Not a great case air circulation wise but that comes with the compact size of this ATX case. Good for the money, but I kind of wish I sprang for a slightly larger case now.OH. But it also came with a motherboard speaker so you can hear the BIOS beeps which was a nice surprise. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful It's a computer case., Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 10-Bay ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - No Power Supply Unit (Black/Red) (Personal Computers) Nothing really special here. For the money, it's a nice case. Painted inside an out. Pretty handsome for what it is. I'd buy another if I needed to. Could have been packaged better. Box was beat up a bit, but no damage was done (this time). I think UPS deliberately beats up boxes sometimes. |
