Throw my laptop which has an acrylic colored hard cover and a soft neoprene sleeve in the bag and with the 3 it's all the protection my computer needs. Has plenty of room to include my Kindle, iPOD, and whatever else I want to put in it. It has tons of space, lots of pockets to organize things, and is a beautiful color (although it does get dirty easily). I bought this for my 15.4" Toshiba laptop, and let's just say, its a tight fit. I basically have to shove the computer in there.
