When I opened the package I discovered that the end that plugs into the PC was bent and the receiving end that the headphones plug into was slightly too large for a 3.5 mm input. The result was that my headphones kept disconnecting from the extension cord whenever I moved. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common flaw in this product. Shipping back to the seller makes a more expensive purchase than buying the other extension cord available at Amazon. I bought four, and they all reverse the left and right channels. How is that even possible if they're mass produced? You can always reverse your headphones or ear buds, but you shouldn't have to.One of them also has intermittent sound in one channel if you move the cable around. So they are not great cables. The cord was actually more sturdy and thicker than I expected - which is a nice bonus because they can get damaged sometimes. There was absolutely no sound degradation from this to my headphones - sounds great! Both ends are very sturdy and have a solid connection. This wasn't the cheapest extension (only one was cheaper) however, this one had MUCH better reviews. For the couple bucks I spent on it - it was money well spent. Highly recommended. |
