The Deming RED BEAD Experiment is an insightful tool in getting started in the implementation of the worker / management relationship. The Red Bead Experiment is also a perfect tool to teach the statistical concepts and methods to produce control charts that are fundamental to the Six Sigma and Dr. Deming's techniques. Implementing a TQM; Six Sigma or other quality improvement program has basically the same steps. But, FIRST you have to create a working relationship between the workforce and management. Dr. Deming's theory is instrumental in understanding the pitfalls in the worker / management relationship.

The photos available show the contents of this kit, however the Study Guide and other paper materials are only available via download. The paddle in this kit is nicely made, but the only thing of value. The video is dated and so bland as to put the audience to sleep. The containers are a Ziploc bag, a zipped burlap bag and a Rubbermaid 9" x 9" x 3.5" container (as shown in the photos). The beads, many of which in my kit were broken in half, are something available from any craft store. After reviewing my purchase, I would have been more comfortable with a price tag around than the 9 I paid. The product is as stated, but not worth the price.
